This coastal studio checked all the boxes for comfort, style, and location! All the amenities of home in a charming NW beach community. I would highly recommend a stay here! ★★★★★
Very stylish and comfortable place and Scott was very helpful. Had a great stay! ★★★★★
I had a lovely week here in this quiet, well appointed studio. Felt tucked away and private with some great outdoor space for summertime to enjoy the weather, also close to hiking. Scott was an excellent host. Great place! Thank you Scott. ★★★★★
The studio was a great home base for our trips to the Olympics and we were very impressed with the design and economy of space and beautiful artwork. Would definitely stay here again! ★★★★★
This is a wonderful place to stay in a gorgeous area. The studio itself is very clean, comfortable and private. It has everything you need while you explore the beautiful surroundings close by. I would highly recommend this little studio for anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway. ★★★★★
Sooooooo lovely, so easy to get to, sooooo clean and well supplied with every imaginable small kitchen appliance (and coffee maker!). Scott was quietly nearby, checked regularly for our needs, if any, made sure we were prepared for the snow, and the lack of plowed streets, assured us of his back-up for power outages, etc. He is personable and kind. Perfect host! ★★★★★
Scott's studio was ideal for me. It was quiet and had easy access to the beach as well as forrest hikes. I utilized both patios for my leisure and WFH obligations. The kitchen was fully equipped and the little toaster oven made roasting vegetables super quick and easy. The birds, squirrels, and bunnies all welcomed me as did Scott. He was always at the ready for any questions or requests. I had a magical time in Hansville:) Highly recommend! ★★★★★
Scott's place is fantastic, it has everything you will need: dishwasher, washer/drier, full-sized fridge, induction hot plate, microwave, mixer, food processor, blender, at least three different types of coffee makers—you name it, and it's there. Despite the kitchen being small, we managed to cook lunch and dinner several times without issues. The bed is very comfortable. The unit looks brand new and modern, it is organized very rationally, it is extremely clean and it was perfect for me, my wife, and our 4-year old son. There is a very private and quiet backyard, which we used for reading. Last, but not least, Scott is truly welcoming and accommodating. We will be back! ★★★★★
Easily accessible, hiking and site seeing close by, parking space right next to the private entrance, clean, the most comfortable bed! ★★★★★
Great place! Comfortable beds, clean and cozy. The great outdoor space opens up the living room nicely. Wonderful view of the mountains and water from the front porch! Scott was very responsive and accommodating. Five stars all around! ★★★★★
Scott was super nice and accommodating. The location was close to everything we wanted to do! The Airbnb was stocked with everything you could need. ★★★★★
The studio exceeded my expectations and I’m already looking forward to another trip to Hansville, which I’ll schedule when the studio is available. Scott excelled at attention to detail and cleanliness, providing a space with pleasing art and decor, providing numerous countertop appliances (including multiple means to make coffee [like 5, I think], ample storage, comfortable beds and linens, being generous with supplies, and offering friendly and responsive communications. The studio has not one, but two outdoor spaces to spread out into. Both are wonderful. My 25-year-old daughter was comfortable for 16 nights on the sofa pull-out twin bed. Hansville and the surrounding area are enchanting and having access to multiple public places in nature is wonderful. The studio WiFi was fast. The studio is private and the neighborhood is quiet and has wonderful scenic views. ★★★★★
Stayed at Scott’s place for 3 months. Everything was just as described/pictured. He has everything you could possibly need already stocked. Very quick with communication about any questions/concerns you have. ★★★★★
This was our first Airbnb and we are now spoiled! There is every amenity you can think of. More small appliances than I even have at home! The place is clean and so welcoming. We will be staying here any time we are in Washington. Five Stars All The Way! ★★★★★
Look no further for your next getaway- this is it. The space: immaculate and I liked that host provides cleaning supplies, vacuum, and extra towels and linens, nice comfy blankets. Space is very well laid out so there is a nice flow to the place. Kitchen had every item you could imagine: loved the Duxtop table top and Breville smart oven was great for cooking too. Nice tv/ sofa area and lovely patio- although it was a bit cold for me, so didn't use it much on this trip. Your host: Scott is truly a super host. I stayed for a month as I moved from Colorado and looking for a new home. He patiently answered all my questions, super fast email response time and helped me orient myself before I arrived. He provided great tips and driving directions, and there was a print out waiting for me of what to do in the area. The area: Hansville is super sweet town, very close to Norwegian Point Beach and Lighthouse. It's an easy drive into Kingston and Poulsbo. There is a nice organic bakery right in town and a small market if you don't want to head into Kingston. Lovely neighborhood, nice for morning and evening walks. If I could have stayed longer I would have. Stellar experience, highly recommend. ★★★★★

Scott had a wonderful place. It was just myself and used as a place to work remote and a jumping point to explore the kitsap peninsula. A fantastic array of amenities. ★★★★★
Beautiful, cozy, clean, roomy, peaceful, studio in a great central location. Studio feels secure nestled in the back of a home. Windows in the back have a view of a lovely unobstructed lush green patch of yard. The glass doors facing your private patio and garden provide an open sense of space. Its a very beautifully designed place with nice storage cubbies, full-sized fridge, and a breakfast bar. The property faces west of the peninsula towards bay and is set back about a quarter mile from the water. There is a slight view of the bay from the second outdoor seating area adjacent the driveway. 20 minutes from Kingston where you can take a ferry with your car to Edmonds or a passenger ferry to Seattle. There's the Point Casino nearby that exhibits Native Artwork worth visiting. ★★★★★
This space was perfect. Quiet, relaxing and equipped with everything I needed. The studio is decorated with classic PNW touches and gorgeous paintings. The little outdoor space was lovely in the afternoon sun. Also, it is located very close to Point No Point Lighthouse where I saw an abundance of wildlife (porpoises, River otters, blue herons etc). ★★★★★
A great place to stay when looking to enjoy the outdoors. Easy to get to Poulsbo, Port Gamble, Port Townsend, and so much more. Hansville is cute and Point No Point Lighthouse is a great visit. The studio is fantastic; clean, great indoor/outdoor spaces, well supplied, and very comfortable. The host was very helpful and the location was really easy to get to. We highly recommend this location and hope to visit again as well. ★★★★★
The studio apartment is very clean and orderly. Scott is helpful and responds quickly. The closest store is about 15 minutes away but the area beautiful. I would return. ★★★★★
Staying at Scott's was a great experience. First, the functionality of the apartment is spectacular. My husband and I had plenty of space, used every inch of it including both decks, and it felt very private. We loved all the attention to detail that went into building out the space as well as the very Pacific Northwest inspired decor. Opening up the double french doors and smelling the honeysuckle planted in the courtyard was magical. Nonstop visits by the hummingbirds to the feeder was a fun visual distraction. We used the propane BBQ several times and it worked out perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, shower was super, and the 5 ways to make coffee was pretty amazing! We highly recommend hiking the Hansville Greenway nearby. It far exceeded our expectations for scenery and exercise. Point No Point Beach was beautiful on a warm day and fun to watch the boats go by. Scott has a special place here, so do yourself a favor and book it. ★★★★★
Scott has created an exquisite gem of a place! The studio is thoughtfully, beautifully, designed and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. Our favorite "room" was actually a small, private outdoor space that was lush with honeysuckle and often visited by hummingbirds. With the help of Scott's guide book for hiking on the Kitsap peninsula, we took short rides to beautiful woods and beaches. We want to return soon. ★★★★★
What a gem of a place! Scott put attention into every detail and we so appreciated the quality of the elements of the house, the impeccable cleanliness, the unscented linens and space, the comfortable bed and pullout couch, the artwork, and the peace and quiet of the place. The place is small but mighty in its functionality and character. Lots of natural light. A hummingbird feeder in the courtyard had frequent visits. Although it is attached to his house, it feels very private. Before we arrived, Scott was generous with his tips and info about the area. Plus he's a nice guy if you have the chance to meet and talk with him! We're glad we did and hope to make it back for another visit! ★★★★★
Scott’s studio is beautiful and the perfect setup for one or two people. I stayed there after a few days of hiking and was ecstatic to be able to clean my dirty laundry, take a shower with decent pressure, and sleep in an actual (very comfortable) bed. Had I loaded up on groceries before arriving, and not wanted to explore the Hansville area, I could have stayed at the studio and never left. It felt like Scott had thought of everything that one might want or need while staying there! ★★★★★
This is a quiet and cozy place. It is very clean and comfortable. Scott is an excellent host and communicates very well. The instructions are clear and all of our questions were answered promptly.
One of the highlights for my wife was the hummingbird feeder on the private patio. There was a steady stream of hummingbirds throughout the day. ★★★★★
Loved staying here! Very clean and well thought out floor plan—the square feet may be limited but you do not feel cramped at all. It was perfect for me and my sister, one of us slept on the bed and the other on the pull out twin couch. The place has everything you could need. The place looks even better in person than in the photos, we were pleasantly surprised! If you’re lucky and it’s a somewhat clear day you can see mountains from the parking lot along with the beautiful water! We would definitely stay here again. ★★★★★
